All About Our Regular Monthly Functions

When The P.J.C. holds regular monthly events on the third Sunday of the month. Should the third Sunday coincide with a public holiday an alternative Sunday will be chosen and the revised date will be published on the PJC Facebook page, the PJC Website page and also by email to all members who have provided their email address. The Hall has heating facilities making the winter afternoons a cosy event and an air conditioning facility to make the hot summer afternoons more pleasant. There is plenty of car parking space alongside the Centre. Time - Early arrivals can congregate in the foyer. Doors to the hall will be opened at 1.30pm and music is from 2pm to 5pm. How - Tickets for our regular Sunday afternoon event can be bought at the Community Hub door where you can pay using EFTPOS tap and pay or you can pay by cash. However, to assist us in organising seating arrangements please book by ringing David Forrest preferably a few days before the event (Ph 0481 881 891 during normal office hours). Should you arrive having failed to book with David, no seating arrangements will have been planned for you. Seating - The hall is equipped with round tables able to seat ten people per table but to avoid seating people with their back to the stage we limit the seating to eight per table. There is a dance floor in front of the band. Who - Visitors accompanied or unaccompanied by members are very welcome. Cost - Ticket prices are currently $15 per member and $20 per visitor.They can on rare occasions vary depending on the cost to the Club for hiring the band. However, the cost to visitors is usually $5 more than for members and if you plan to regularly come along then becoming a member is the most economical approach. Smoking - No smoking is permitted within the Hub. Eats etc. - Bring along your own drinks & nibbles, cups & glasses etc. Free coffee and tea making facilities are available. And More - A free door prize is raffled at every event and we also have a general raffle to which we encourage you to participate as the income helps us finance the event. We sell an attractive lapel badge featuring the Club's Koala emblem.
